About Cewal Graphics
Giinagay/Wiyabu! I’m Caitie, the hands, heart and paintbrush behind Cewal Graphics — a small creative one-woman business where I proudly hand-paint functional household items and artworks that bring colour, culture and calm into your everyday spaces.
I’m accepted as a Biripi woman, where I have grown up surrounded on beautiful Biripi Country. I’m now based on gorgeous coastal Gumbaynggirr Country in Coffs Harbour, where I’ve called home for the last three years.
The stories, colours, and landscapes of both these beautiful Countries first inspired a set of works that I created for my mum, and continue to inspire every piece that I paint today.
I hold a Bachelor of Teaching (Fine Arts) (Honours), majoring in ceramics — but with no kiln nearby, I’ve returned to painting with joy.
These days, I work mostly with acrylics, creating functional artworks that feel at home in your kitchen, on your coffee table, or as a thoughtful gift.
Cewal Graphics began as a personal outlet — a way to slow down and create space for peace. It’s still that, but now it’s grown into something that I get to share with others. You can usually find me (and my work) at local markets around the Coffs Harbour area, where I love connecting with community and seeing my creations find their new homes.
Attending Indigenous organised markets are my specialty and something that brings me happiness. I really enjoy meeting up with other mob stall holders and having a yarn with the local community who come and support other small Blak businesses.
Thanks for supporting my small business and creative journey — every piece is handpainted with care, and a whole lot of love.
